About
Dr. Benjamin Remington
Dr. Benjamin Remington is not a typical neurosurgeon. Before most physicians were thinking about medical technology, he was building it.
Dr. Remington's research interests include biotechnical manipulations of the nervous system, spinal solutions that form to patient anatomy, and pushing the boundaries of minimally invasive neurological surgery. He has navigated FDA trials, founded companies, and holds an inventor's perspective on every surgical challenge he encounters — always asking whether there's a better, less invasive way.
Dr. Remington holds an MD from the University of Utah, with residencies at the University of Utah and the University of Texas San Antonio. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in Math and Chemistry — an unusual scientific foundation that informs his engineering-minded approach to complex spine problems. He practiced in Modesto, California for over two decades before bringing his expertise to the DFW area.
For patients, what this means in practice is a surgeon who approaches complex spine conditions with both deep clinical expertise and a problem-solver's instinct — someone who has seen what technology can and cannot do, and who uses that knowledge to find the most effective, least invasive path to recovery.
