Dr. David Liao, DO

Dr. David Liao is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose more than 35 years of experience span the full range of orthopedic care — from joint replacement to shoulder, sports, and hand surgery.

He earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (Western University of Health Sciences), completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital / Michigan State University, and finished a fellowship in shoulder and upper-extremity surgery at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa.

Dr. Liao cares for patients across every major joint — hip and knee replacement, including minimally invasive small-incision approaches; rotator cuff repair and shoulder replacement; and sports injuries of the knee and shoulder such as ACL and meniscus tears. He also treats fractures, carpal tunnel and other hand conditions, and foot and ankle problems.
